Performatic Theater Company founded in 2013, headquartered in Mexico City directed by Isabel Toledo and Itzel Aparicio.
The search for opening communication channels among strangers through theater lead them to develop intimate scenic devices in which the spectators participate in the construction of the piece. The daily stories have become its work matter and the finding of meeting points in the frontier of the real, fiction and the archive. Since its creation, five performatic pieces have been developed in Mexico and Buenos Aires: La edad de creer en esas cosas (2013), Nathalie Correspondance (2014), No hay futuro posible (2015-2017), PLAY (2017) and Las Gordas (2018).
Isabel Toledo*, Itzel Aparicio** , Horacio Romo (México) and Nicolás Rodríguez (Argentina) are current members off Pentimento.
Part of the group studied their Masters Degrees in Performatic Arts at Universidad Nacional de las Artes in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and have participated in festivals and international residencies at the Museo Universitario del Chopo (Mexico City), the Zürcher Theater Spektakle (Zurich, Switzerland), the Kunstenfestivaldasarts (Brussels, Belgium) and the Live Arts Exchange LAX Festival (Los Angeles, USA).
